For the first time ever Vermeer Canada ran a National Food Drive Challenge across our 10 Canadian Branches to bring kind-hearts, helping hands and support to our growing communities.
What started with a handful of employees bringing in personalized bags of non-perishable items from the “Most Needed Items List”, has now grown into a national movement that has helped many within a short time. We’re excited to report that to-date, Vermeer Canada as a collective have filled 12 large skidded boxes. These have been donated and shipped to local charities, schools and food banks to provide a warm meal to those with empty tummies over the Holiday Season.
Huge shout out to Emily Wiggill, at our Grande Prairie, Alberta location for bringing such enthusiasm and determination to the challenge. They rallied up customers and their family and friends to fill up 9 of the 12 large boxes and have really made an impact at this time of giving back.
Grande Prairie, we’d like to thank you so much for your hard work, your dedication and your compassion that you’ve shown not only through words, but action.
From your Vermeer Canada Family
